Version 1.0
Terms of Service for VisualMaths. This page describes the rules and obligations for using the application.
Version: 1.0-draft · Last updated: 2026-10-27
1. Operator and contact
VisualMaths is operated by Leonard kelly, Contact: leonard.kelly@scholarlink.it.com.
2. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using VisualMaths, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms where you live, use VisualMaths only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts and access
Protected lessons, the workspace and premium features require sign-in with a verified Google account. Keep access to your account secure and do not impersonate another person. You are responsible for activity made through your signed-in session.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or its providers, to respond to misuse, or to comply with law. Where practical, we will explain the reason and any available review route.
4. The learning service
VisualMaths provides educational explanations, interactive demonstrations, graphing and construction tools, formula sheets, exam recaps and AI-assisted responses. Features may change, be unavailable, or be removed as the service develops. We do not promise uninterrupted access, that every feature will always be available, or that the service is suitable for a particular course or examination.
You retain control of workspace documents saved in your browser. Unless a feature expressly says otherwise, those documents are not synchronized to your account or backed up by VisualMaths.
5. Educational content and AI output
Lessons, recaps, formulas and AI responses are provided for study and revision. They may contain errors, omissions or material that does not match your syllabus. Check important work against authoritative course materials, and do not rely on an AI response as the sole basis for an examination, professional, financial, medical or safety-critical decision.
AI output is generated in response to your request and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying it.
6. Acceptable use
You may use VisualMaths for lawful learning and teaching. You must not:
- attempt to bypass access controls, usage limits, charges or other safeguards;
- interfere with the service, probe or overload its systems, or use it to distribute malicious content;
- use the service to violate another person’s rights or applicable law; or
- submit content that you are not permitted to provide or that contains sensitive personal information you do not need to share.
7. Your content
You remain responsible for text, prompts, drawings and other material you submit. You grant VisualMaths permission to process that material only as needed to provide the feature you request, operate the service and protect it from misuse. For AI features this can include sending the prompt to Google Gemini. The service does not store AI prompt or answer text in its AI usage records.
Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive or third-party personal information unless you have a lawful basis and it is necessary for your request.
8. Intellectual property
VisualMaths and its original software, design, lesson materials and branding are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms allow you to use the service for personal educational purposes; they do not transfer ownership to you. You may not copy or redistribute substantial parts of the service except where the law permits or the relevant rights-holder has authorized it.
9. Free tokens and usage limits
The service may provide free tokens or a limited number of free actions. Availability and limits may change. Free token balances are replenished according to the schedule shown in your account. AI requests and other actions may be subject to daily or other fair-use limits, including for premium-pass holders.
10. Paid tokens and premium passes
Optional token packages and premium passes are paid for using the payment instructions shown on the site. Payments are reviewed manually; submitting a payment request is not confirmation that payment has been received or that tokens or a pass have been awarded. The selected package is awarded after the payment has been verified.
The current token ledger does not assign an automatic expiry date to purchased token units. Premium passes have the duration and fair-use limits stated on the package page when purchased.
Prices and token costs are displayed on the premium page. Some actions may be free, token-charged, or subject to a pass-specific daily cap. The applicable price and feature description will be shown before a purchase or on the relevant product information page.
11. Payment verification, cancellations and refunds
You are responsible for entering accurate payer details and payment references. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify a payment. Do not send payment credentials or one-time passwords.
The cancellation and refund policy for paid tokens and passes is immediate as long as you make a request via email: leonard.kelly@scholarlink.it.com. Refunds are at the operator’s discretion and may be subject to a reasonable administrative fee. Refunds will be made to the original payment method where possible.
12. Third-party services
VisualMaths relies on third-party providers for Google sign-in, AI processing, hosting, database and email delivery. Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for independent services that we do not operate.
13. Availability and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VisualMaths is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes a liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent a limitation is permitted, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
14. Changes to the service or Terms
We may update the service and these Terms. We will publish the current version and its version number on this page. If a change materially affects paid features or your rights, we will take reasonable steps to draw it to your attention before it applies where required by law. Your continued use after an updated version takes effect means you use the service under that version, subject to applicable law.
15. Governing law and disputes
Mandatory protections under the law applicable to you continue to apply.
